Aino Sofia

We were asked to create the branding of a clothing company in Vietnam. The brand name is Aino Sofia.

Aino means love in Japanese (愛 の Sofia). They plan to infuse both Japanese style and European style into clothes and sell them to the 20 to 45 age range women in Vietnam.

For their slogan, the client presented us with two options "Treat Yourself" and "Love Yourself." We thought neither of them really stood out, so we offered to help them brainstorm a little bit. The client was happy to hear that we'd like to pitch in some ideas, but was concerned that the Vietnamese population will not understand the slogan if we use difficult English words.

We came up with the following slogan -

Since Aino means Love in Japanese, when you wear their clothes, you are literally in "love."

But it also means that since the quality and the style of the clothes are so nice, anyone who wears them will fall in love with the clothes. It is also very easy to understand and remember.

The client loved this idea and decided to use this as their slogan.

As for their logo, we came up with something that is really simple and elegant.

As well as a more elaborate, detailed symbol for their brand.

We also created some print pieces for them, including labels for their clothes and hang tags. Below are just a couple of samples...

Generic hang tags: front and back

Designer hang tags: outside and inside

We made the designer hang tags long in case they need to be hung with the generic hang tag.

Sugar Plum Shoes Inc

We team up with Sugar Plum Shoes to create their logo, business card, and website.

Here's the logo.

The business card.

The client wanted something classy and simple. We gave her four design options and she ended up picking this one as is, without requesting any changes.

(The number is a dummy number, so please do not call).

Another logo option that the client might use elsewhere.

And finally, one Facebook ad that fits the required dimension and still catches people's attention.

We'd like to thank Daphne for the excellent communication prior to the actual design. Knowing exactly the look and feel she wanted truly made the design process go much smoother.

We will be working on the website once we get all the details. And will definitely share the design and link with you when we're finished!

Hello VillageJapan

When sunnyside up was approached by VillageJapan, we were happy to know that they were interested in asking us to design an online banner that links people to VillageJapan.

Due to the size limitation not a whole lot can be done to these banners. However, we came up with three eye catching designs and the client loved them all. He decided to use all three of them! The client was also very happy with our turnaround time (one day!) the reasonable price and the great artwork. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

WorldCat

We were approached by a client who owns a company that produces competition level bike trial components. They were unhappy with their old logo, and therefore requested us to create a logo that is more hip and eye catching for them.

Client's Old Logo

What we came up with:

What they look like on T shirts

The client was very pleased with the new logo. So are we :)

Ling Photography

We are proud to announce that our client's new photography site is finally up!

Client's old logo

Her request for the new logo: clean, modern, fun, and keep the Chinese character which is part of her Chinese name.

And we delivered this:

Her new website looks amazing, you guys definitely have to check it out (click on photo).

Fin Studio

Here's a little giveaway poster we designed for Fin Studio. We took the photo of an exotic fish and changed the colors to red and green. We added the ribbon and the Happy Holidays note on it, and of course didn't forget to include Fin Studio's contact information to remind the clients that Fin Studio wishes to keep in touch in the year to come.

The label.

The whole package. We've gotten some really positive feedback from this!

The Creative Director of Fin Studio is actually a great friend of ours.
